Vários carros foram assaltados nas últimas semanas em plena luz do dia no concelho de Albufeira, alguns deles na zona das Açoteias, de acordo com publicação no website do Correio da Manhã (CM) e com informação chegada ao jornal diariOnline Região Sul.

O último assalto ocorreu no passado sábado, 6 de junho, quando “uns clientes americanos estavam a almoçar e tinham o carro estacionado à porta do restaurante“, segundo um empresário da zona declarou ao CM.

Um vizinho viu um carro alugado com o vidro partido e alertou os turistas. “Levaram malas, portáteis e passaportes que estavam nos bancos“, adianta o empresário.

Também neste sábado, 6 de junho, outras viaturas foram furtadas no estacionamento da praia dos Tomates, situada na zona das Açoteias, cujo clima de insegurança tem deixado os empresários apreensivos. “Sabemos que a GNR faz o que pode com os meios que tem, mas era importante reforçar o patrulhamento nesta zona” afirma o empresário.

Um outro automóvel, de um funcionário de um restaurante também no concelho de Albufeira, foi vandalizado, tendo-lhe sido partidos os vidros e roubados todos os documentos.

O CM adianta na sua publicação que a GNR tomou conta das ocorrências e tenta localizar os suspeitos.

Everything a traveler encounters upon leaving Mexico City International Airport (AICM) illustrates the problems facing the country’s largest terminal. The first thing you see after stepping outside is long lines, cars being towed away, and National Guard officers handing out fines. The standoff between licensed taxi drivers and ride‑hailing apps over control of the airport has been simmering for months, becoming a strange daily routine of enforcement operations and drivers losing their cars at both terminals of the airport. But with only eight days before the World Cup begins in the capital — bringing millions of visitors— the conflict is intensifying.
