El Mundial ha comenzado en La 1, y el curso televisivo puede darse casi por finalizado. A partir de ahora, la época estival tratará de esconderse de los partidos y TVE intentará probar formatos que, con un poco de suerte, lleguen más allá de septiembre. El curso que acaba, aunque ha tenido varias novedades, ha sido, en general, una repetición de los éxitos y fracasos que llevan años (o incluso décadas) perviviendo en nuestra televisión, pero sí ha habido tendencias en audiencia y contenido que han caracterizado este año. ¿Por qué hay tantos programas de entrevistas a famosos? ¿Qué se puede hacer con Telecinco? ¿Conseguirá La 1 llegar al liderazgo? En un año en el que Eurovisión ha desaparecido de la televisión tradicional, también ha habido series, muchos concursos y rostros que han destacado en este año en el que la política ha comenzado a inundar toda la parrilla (algo que se prodigará todavía más ante la llegada del calendario electoral).

At 35, Daniel Pontón is what is known as a Disney adult. His fans crowd outside his home in Parla in Madrid where he lives with his fiancé. His passion for Disney is such that he is considering removing the bed from the guest room/museum to make way for the invasion of stuffed Disney toys. On the fluffy pillows, there are Mickey, Stitch, Jack Skellington, Olaf, Chip and Chop. The shelves and walls are also plastered with Disney images. All this memorabilia, and other collector’s items, such as park keys, are mementos from his time browsing Disney stores and enjoying theme parks.

Nicolas Cage always wanted to be a superhero. Not surprisingly, his stage name (his real surname is Coppola, since he is the nephew of the director) comes from Marvel’s strongman Luke Cage. As if that weren’t comic-bookish enough, his son is named Kal-El (like Superman). His collection of 400 classic comics included the first Action Comics, which he bought for $150,000, someone stole at a party and which later got sold for $15 million. Hollywood’s most singular superstar still couldn’t be Tim Burton’s Superman, and although he settled for the skull-faced Ghost Rider, at age 62 Cage finally gets the chance to play another great: the new television Spider-Man. There is, however, a twist in his Spider-Noir: this wall-crawler is also a detective in 1930s New York.
