Una fusión de kebab iraquí y armenio a ocho euros triunfa en Madrid

Antes de dejar Bagdad, Zaid Aldabawee ya había construido un negocio de restauración de éxito, abriendo dos grandes comedores en la capital iraquí. Enseña un vídeo reciente que le han enviado sus familiares desde su país, en el que se ven multitudes de clientes haciendo cola fuera de uno de ellos. “Es lo que conozco, y conozco bien este negocio”, dice. Su tercer proyecto de restaurante lo llevó a Alemania, pero la experiencia fue breve. “Después de un año, no podía más”, recuerda. “Así que me vine a España. La gente es más cálida y acogedora, y prefiero el clima”.
