A Fujifilm Portugal fechou o ano fiscal de 2025 com receitas de 60 milhões de euros, um crescimento de 8% face ao ano anterior. O desempenho da filial portuguesa não só bateu o próprio recorde como superou o crescimento global do grupo Fujifilm Holdings Corporation, que aumentou 5% para 19,18 mil milhões de euros.
O resultado coloca Portugal como um dos mercados mais dinâmicos da multinacional japonesa na Europa. A região europeia cresceu 6,7% no mesmo período, para 3,32 mil milhões de euros, mas a operação portuguesa conseguiu ir ainda mais longe. Já a operação ibérica, que junta Portugal e Espanha, atingiu uma faturação de 169 milhões de euros.
O grande motor dos resultados foi a área de Healthcare, que representa já 52% da faturação total da empresa em Portugal. O foco em soluções de diagnóstico por imagem tem posicionado a Fujifilm como parceira estratégica na modernização tecnológica do setor da saúde nacional.
“Os resultados alcançados refletem a relevância crescente da operação portuguesa na estratégia europeia da Fujifilm. Portugal tem vindo a afirmar-se como um centro de competências especializadas, com equipas altamente qualificadas”, afirma Pedro Mesquita, Diretor-Geral da Fujifilm Portugal e Espanha.
Para sustentar o crescimento, a empresa vai reforçar a equipa em Vila Nova de Gaia nos próximos meses. A unidade de Gaia é hoje um polo estratégico para a Europa, responsável pela reparação de equipamentos fotográficos e de endoscopia para vários mercados. Atualmente, a Fujifilm Portugal conta com 165 colaboradores.
O ano de 2025 ficou ainda marcado pela abertura da Fujifilm House of Photography Porto, um investimento de 500 mil euros que segue o conceito já implementado em Londres e Barcelona.
Com atividade nas áreas de Healthcare, Imaging e Business Innovation, a empresa garante que vai continuar a apostar na inovação tecnológica e no desenvolvimento de competências especializadas para manter a trajetória de crescimento.
