Indian shooting legend Jaspal Rana died in New Delhi early on Friday morning, reportedly of complications after a recent stent procedure.

Full state honours were accorded to Jaspal Rana, whose sudden death following cardiac complications left the Indian sporting fraternity in shock.

Manu Bhaker, who won two Olympic medals at Paris 2024, said that Jaspal Rana wasn't just her mentor, but also a friend who understood her more than others.
